We sat on the Rheinuferpromenade to escape the crowds. There was service and of course we drank kolch and snacked on flammkuchen sp. We watched the ships move down the Rhrine river and just drank in all the gorgeous architecture of the area. In my opinion, the promenade is one of the beautiful places in Düsseldorf. When I'm taking a stroll through Kö it's always so crowded and kind of stressful, but when I'm walking on the promenade, it has a different atmosphere and feeling to it that I can't explain. It's very relaxing and I love to watch the sunset there. It would be better if there weren't guys who are trying to hit on you or talk to you in an impolite manner it depends on where you are at the promenade. I recommend to choose one of the bars on the promenade and to order a cocktail and to enjoy the view. It's very worthwhile ; One of the highlights and perks of living in Dusseldorf, the always busy Rheinpromenade - lined with good restaurants, cafes, cinemas and shops, this stretch along the Rhine is always busy with cyclists, rollerbladers, couples, and people enjoying the view and watching the cruise ships go up and down many on the way to Cologne. Worth doing at rheinuferpromenade düsseldorf restaurant once.
